Since I moved from Palm OS to Android, I'm looking for the best replacement of Natara Bonsai, which is a perfect tool to have all my notes and todos always sync'ed, but sadly, there were no version for Android. I guess IQ could be an interesting choice, but I'm not sure it is. Any suggestions, before I start my learning process on this giant tool?

 Hello Alejandro,

IQ is a wonderful tool. I use it everyday for EVERYTHING but you cannot synch w Android. i use Android, too & wish it were not so. However,

I can integrate filtered emails directly into IQ which I do for all my e-bills.

Pierre, the developer, is promising to sync Google Calendar in the final 9.6 beta version. Presumably it will also sync tasks from there, too. Also I understand there is work afoot on an Evernote-IQ connection but don't have any details on that yet.

Maybe someone will come along w more info for you.

HTH.

 Thank you, Jan.

I'm impressed with IQ, I'm sure it is the most powerful and complete outliner on the web, but just because of that, I think it is not so easy learning or friendly looking one. I was thinking that if IQ can't give me the feature I want more, then it's not a good idea to waste my time on getting familiar with it. I guess it can, but I want to be sure.

There are some Android outlining apps which support OPML files, like NoteLinx, Ouliner, or Apsalus, etc. IQ, as I see, can import OPML, though I don't see if it can export to OPML. I wish IQ could sync any IQ file to an OPML data base, so it would be some how a sync conduit to any outliner for Android.

This is an interesting idea. If you could configure a grid to automatically export its content to an OPML file in a dropbox folder, would this do the trick for you ?

Pierre, FYI, I'm still unable to post on this forum using IE-10.  Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, Pierre. Turning on the compatibility function allowed me to answer your post via Win 8 / IE 10. Thanks for the tip.

Pierre, since Evernote parses emails by notebook & tagging, it would be neat if I could figure out how to select some IQ items & email them to Evernote. Is this possible? Currently I automated incoming e-bills to IQ "bill due" grid which is working like a charm.

Hi Pierre,

Any idea when the calendar function will be able to sync with Android calendar?  Or is that possible now?

Also, I very much appreciate the recently added printing-to-one-page feature.

thanks

Hi Doug,

I'm finalizing tests of the new calendar component and will release v0.9.26PreRel14. Next step is integrating the Google Calendar sync module which I already have with the new calendar. This will allow syncing with Android calendars.

Happy New Year !
