Is there a way to import bookmarks from Firefox?  Couldn't find anything in the manual.

I see that Firefox provides an HTML export but I don't know if that would help the process.

Right now I'm having to do each bookmark manually which is tedious, to say the least.  I can't even drag the bookmark directly into InfoQube because it doesn't capture the title (comes up "Library" each time).  I also need to capture the date the bookmark was added, which I'm adding manually right now.

Any ideas to shorten the process in any way would be appreciated.

  1. With the Bookmark sidebar open, right-click on a folder and select Copy
  2. In a new item, paste as HTML (you can also paste in the Doc pane and copy the links -- perhaps easier to add the split character)
  3. All bookmarks are shown in a single item. You can then split it into multiple item (the easiest way is to enter a split character, such as | then exit edit. Do the item > split command and select the split character as delimiter
  4. If you have lots of bookmarks, after pasting in the Doc pane, go in edit mode and replace </a> with </a> |. This will add all the split characters in one shot

As an very advanced solution, you can also install the SQLite ODBC driver and use the remote database sync. It will work, but requires a lot of work !! Details here: 5. Synchronization with Remote Databases

How do I ?
