Is there any way to copy and paste information from one IQ database to another?  I currently have two IQ databases, a personal and professional.  I have decided to try and use one for both instead.  I do not care about maintaining fields between the two, I would just like to be able to easily copy and paste items and HTML content.

Yes. Copy and paste (in XML format) works fine for this. It is not particularly fast, so it is best to do it in smaller chunks.
 

Why wouldn't import work for this?

Import works well for tabular data. David wants to transfer the HTML pane content which doesn't work well with tabular data.

Just so I'm clear on this, do you mean that a user importing one IQ dB into another loses HTML or MHT data associated w items?
