Live Search opens new tabs when clicking on Shown In hyperlink even though grid is already open

Maybe this is a feature rather than a bug, but I don't recall it happening in the past:

Noticed something else recently that I can recall happening before: When I click on a hyperlink in the Shown In column in Live Search, it seems to always open the target grid in a new tab. Didn't it used to jump to existing tabs when that grid is already open somewhere?

I just lost most of the work I did today and it appears to be permanently gone.

1) Dragged a link to InfoQube from Firefox.  InfoQube locked up (very common problem that happens more than once every day).

2) At least two items were lost.  These items contained the bulk of my work for the day.  Both items included the date in the title (Mon 12/19/22).

Icon for IQ reminders not showing in Win 11 computer

I just updated to 121Pre5, and on my Win 11 laptop the icon for IQ reminders does not appear in the taskbar, even though the IQ Reminders program is running in the background (it's displayed as such in Task Manager) and the icon is set to display in the taskbar (it did in 121Pre4).

I reinstalled 121pre5, but to no avail.

By contrast, on my Win 10 desktop the icon for IQ reminders does appear in the taskbar.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated - thanks!

Minor document pane editing issue

Suppose I go into the document pane and enter the entering mode.

I find that when I try to use the "format" toolbar to do boldface, italics or other format issues, it doesn't work at first. However, if I do formating via Menu>Format>Bold (or whatever), it works. Or if I do formatting via a right-click on the text in the document pane, it works.

If I do
Right-click on a toolbar>Customize>Options>Reset Menu and Toolbar Usage Data>Yes>Close

Google Connect

I successfully setup Google connect to my Google account.

As expected I got a security alert saying

InfoQube IM was granted access to your linked Google Account - no problem.

So far ok. I can see my tasks and calendar events list.

However IQ says at the top left. Connected to (unknown e-mail address)

And when I check connection IQ says failed to connect. 

I think I'm missing a step.

Any advise would be welcome.

 

 

Duplicate subitems displayed

Sometimes when I create a subitem (Return>alt-right arrow), InfoQube shows two versions of the same item.  These items have the same ID number.  They remain in view until I delete one using delete>this view only.

This has been going on for months.  It doesn't happen all the time but once it starts, it persists for some time.  The effect appears to be localized (if I go to another part of the file, it doesn't do this).

Hyperlink navigation fails

1) Hyperlink to item in another grid correctly opens the item in its grid.

2) But item is hoisted instead of being shown in proper grid context with parents expanded.

3) When item is unhoisted, and selection is lost and you can no longer navigate to the item in the grid.

Update:  I think this is another case where a command cannot execute correctly because the items in the grid have not been loaded. 

I expanded all the levels in the grid, and after that the hyperlink worked correctly.
