I have reported this before. I am absolutely certain that turning auto search off does not necessarily stick. This happens from time to time, but it is erratic and I cannot detect steps to replicate it. The only commonality is that it occurs when IQ is started. I have never experienced this while IQ is running.

But the problem is there.

Really, it is.

Really.

Thanks for the heads up.
The best thing to do at this point is probably to create Mantis issue for it... And wait for other clues. Because without clues, it's going to be hard to debug.

Windows XP Home Edition, Service pack 3
Dell Vostro 1500, Ram:3gb, CPU: Intel Core2Duo T7500 2.2ghz

I've searched through the code and don't see anything special with the handling of Auto Search...

Just to make sure it isn't a "Pilot" error, could you remove the keyboard shortcut (default is CTRL+F3) and see if it still occurs... ?

Thanks !

Your not crazy Jon...

I was able to reproduce the issue. Hitting Ctrl+Space seems to be equivalent to Ctrl+F3. I'll try to clarify why this is happening...

Thanks. It's good to have these testimonials in writing.
