The universal clipper (UC) is not copying the selected text in Firefox here (Win7 x64).
A dialogue does open with whatever I previously copied in it, i.e. wothout selected text
 
I havent used the UC in a long time - I suspect the problem here is FF.
Can anyone with Windows 7 x64 and Firefox give this a try and let me know if it works?

is the Firefox clipper working ok ?
When using a supported application (IE, FF), using the dedicated clipper is more powerful.

Ah, okay.  Yes - the FF clipper is working fine!
 
I had been using the UC in a few other apps and just kept with it in FF.
