Should Shift+F12 toggle the HTML Pane?
-
currently it opens multiple html panes.

It depends on your shortcuts, but the default is for F12 to toggle between the HTML pane and the grid and Shift+F12 to open a new HTML pane

the shortcuts are default -
what's the logic of opening more than one HTML pane? I'm curious - can someone give me a use case scenario?

It used toggle (like the properties pane) but I havent used it much in a good while.

It is really neat to use more than one HTML pane as IQ uses these in alternative fashion, so you always see the content of the previous item.

Also, you can lock one pane on one item and have the other pane update based on the current item:
  • The locked pane can show a plan, and the other the details
  • You can easily copy / compare between two items
HTH !
