I've noticed that hyperlinking to another grid by providing the grid name as the link doesn't focus on the target grid when clicked. It does seem to flash to the other grid very quickly, and it does open the target grid if it is closed, but you end up staying in the grid that has the link.

Here it works properly.
 
What are the steps? how are your grids positioned?
 
P.S. The only problem here (not new) is
1- if a grid is itself a pane (alone or in another "grid space" inside a tab... as a pane -- I know, it gets complicated...)
2- and it's still in a "placeholder state" (meaning that it's content hasn't been displayed yet),
3- ... it won't open where it should.

I have just one grid pane with grid tabs on top. I tried closing all grids and just opened the one with the links. Clicking the link the first time opened the target grid but didn't switch to it. I switched to the target grid to make sure it was loaded and tried the link from the first grid again resulting in a quick flash of the target grid tab being highlighted but still remaining in the first grid.
