I am not sure if this qualifies as a bug, or it happens only to me.
Shift+N acts as a Global Shortcut whenever IQ is running. It creates a new item.
The problem is that I cannot type a capital N anywhere! (Unless, of course, I press Caps Lock and/or close IQ)
Any suggestions?
TIA

Normally the global shortcut for invoking the "add item" dialog is WinKey + N. Maybe you've mapped your "shift" key to something else ?

Nope, that's not the case, maybe IQ has some hidden settings?

AFAIK, the golobal winkey+n shortcut isn't customizable. But the local shortcut is. It's ctrl+n by default, and it's customizable by right clicking on any IQ toolbar --> customize --> keyboard --> Category : Edit > New item. I've never heard of someone having this shift+n problem, so I'm not sure what,s going on.

Hi Pejay,
you can actually change the universal hotkey for a new note:

Menu: Options >Program Settings >Other >Add Item Hotkey  [1.5.12]

maybe it somehow got changed on your install....
