A search didnt bring up anything helpful so I'm looking for some help here (or links to help/advice) which we can maybe eventually add to manual

I've never used browser mode (well, not intentionally) till today
so far I've got - Right-Click on URL >> Browse Mode, click on link & browse. Also available under HTML-Menu >> View >> Browse Mode

so, I'm wondering
-
how to use it - e.g.
1) does it need to be turned off
does it need to be 'activated' for each link you click (seems to be the case here) (I think I just had a very slow site)
2) things to avoid ?
3) Is Navigation possible (backwards / forwards)
- anything else you might find helpful !

a) How to launch a URL from the HTML pane in an external browser ?  (nothing happens here with click / control+click / double-click)
b) Is or would it be possible to launch a link from the grid in the html pane?

[edit] I see it's called 'Browse Mode' not 'Browser ..' [/edit]

Thanks Armando for your answers.
Correct me if I'm wrong below, (working with content clipped from the web)

~ Okay, so when I turn it on, it stays on until I turn it off via menu or context  menu. If the icon has a box around it - you're in browse mode
~ I am unable to go back to previous page - the backbutton will show the previous item in the grid listing.

~ Browse mode appears to not work for some sites / links e.g try saving the two links in this dc post ('copy content' as html)
then in the html pane, there's no response to clicking the website link, also,
clicking on the link at the bottom of html pane (telling me where it's saved from), opens in external browser - this appears to be default

Okay, browse mode appears to work as I would expect it, when you have saved the whole web page, but when you have only saved a portion of a page it works differently
Nope, cant figure it out

Sorry, I forgot :

> a) How to launch a URL from the HTML pane in an external browser ?  (nothing happens here with click / control+click / double-click)

If you're not in browse mode -- while using embedded plain HTML content --, ctrl click should open your default browser.

>b) Is or would it be possible to launch a link from the grid in the html pane?

I never tried. I don't think it's possible... But if it's important for you and ask for, it, maybe... :)
