User creates calendar entry, category color 1 > saves
User edits calendar entry, changes category color by selecting color dot #2 > both color dots remain in display area > save
Calendar entry retains first color
Re-edit calendar entry, select 2nd color > save
Calendar entry retains 2nd color as selected

When multiple categories are selected, the first determines the color. Isn't behaving this way ?
 
BTW, multiple categories will eventually be removed and replaced with Google-like calendars (1 color per calendar)

Hi Pierre,  If by multiple categories you mean assigning one event to multiple categories, I can't answer because that's not what I do. It's a matter of changing categories at issue here. HTH
