I had a grid all set up for all my writing projects, i.e.
research
draft status
due dates
publications
publication dates
# of words
published
etc
etc

Today when I opened the grid, only item "column" appeared

I'm not afraid that my data was lost or that I can't re-construct the grid but this is a weird one along with
the inability to paste which is in another thread w a screen capture

I d/l the latest version, jumping over a few in between because they mostly dealt with Gantt charts which I'm not currently using.
Don't know if that could be involved.
I have absolutely no idea why this happened.
I'm afraid to look @ other grids to see if they are all right but it makes no difference one way or the other although I will report back.
Meantime, any thoughts on this subject? TX

I ran into this problem many times many months ago, but haven't in the last few ones. I think the problem was at least partly solved at some point -- that and the filter history disappearing.

There Have been discussions on the subject at some point. Here's one :

Maybe is your problem related ?

Perhaps but I don't see the connection as I hadn't changed anything in the grid in months as I use it for writing my articles. Then one day I simply opened the grid to find the current state.
It's odd, I grant you but then I look @ the "paste" problem as also odd & a while back I had another one that Pierre finally fixed after many attempts because it was a real off-the-wall circumstance.
If someone could just come up w an idea how / why something like this could happen, I could -- at the very least -- be aware of the possibility & keep my eyes open to a repeat set of circumstances.
It's not the end of the world but one should assume that this shouldn't happen.

The only thing I can think of is that I haven't been paying too much attention to the new changes so maybe there's something in there that I did (or didn't do) unknowingly to trigger this change.
Pierre -- anyone -- thoughts, suggestions?

sometimes I find settings are changed after an update, I've occasionally had things change, seemingly out of the blue, but possibly/probably related to previous upgrade...
