I've set the backup, to "Backup on program close" and "Auto-backup every x minutes" set to 0, does this combination disable backup completely? I don't seem to be getting any backups.  All I really want is to only have three backups at a time, I don't really care when the backups happen.

Here it works.
I set the options as you describe and when I close IQ (sample DB), a new backup is created. Those are numbered as : *.SNBK0, *.SNBK1, *.SNBK2 etc.

Pilot error on my part. I change my SNDB file to a Dropbox directory but not the SNDBK files, so I was looking in the wrong place.
