One thing I would love to see is for IQ to take better advantage of our wide screen monitors by rolling over grid contents to an additional panes under the same tab.
What I am talking about is called multiple-columns in Microsoft Word, but since columns is taken I am using the term pane to describe the columns and rows combined. For example, here is multiple columns in Word:
The idea is simple, if you have lots of horizontal space (and most of us do these days with widescreen laptops and monitors) it would be great to use that space by continue the tab's contents into another column.
For example, if I have the following Grid
# | Item |
1 | a |
1.1 | aa |
1.2 | ab |
2 | b |
2.1 | ba |
2.2 | bb |
2.3 | bc |
3 | c |
3.1 | ca |
3.2 | cb |
and only have enough vertical space for 6 rows I will see this in the grid
# | Item |
1 | a |
1.1 | aa |
1.2 | ab |
2 | b |
2.1 | ba |
2.2 | bb |
what I am suggesting is if there is enough horizontal space it would be great if just used that space and rolled over the grid...

You can simulate that a bit by creating a new tab/window for the same grid and manually scrolling to the right place, but you have to constantly grid refresh and manually scroll as you work.
Pierre, Is this possible?
