I had originally looked into getting IQ to run on Linux.  I feel I was close, but could never get it to work well and it had a number of glitches that made it unusable.  Ironically, I tried again last week with a current version of Linux.  I am running Fedora 15.  I had additional issues when attempting this again.  Most of the issues arose from the fact that my first attempt was on 32-bit Linux and this time I had moved to 64-bit Linux.  I plan on continuing the effort, but may have to redo some of my previous work related to setup.
