Suppose I use IQ on both desktop and laptop, with my IQ database in a dropbox folder. Suppose I load an IQ database into IQ on the desktop, and then open the same database into IQ on the laptop, without first closing the database on the desktop. I make a modification to the database on the laptop. Won't this always produce two copies of the database in the Dropbox, one of them being labeled as the laptop's "conflicted copy"?
If I am right about this - is there a way to make IQ "dropbox aware" so that the changes made on the laptop are integrated into the database on the desktop? Or perhaps - if I do produce two conflicted copies of the same database, can IQ be made to reconcile them? Would be a great feature I think.
