I've created a rather long list of notes in the HTML pane of an item, and I'm copy/pasting additional material at the end.  Each time I leave the item and return to it, the view is re-set to top of the list, and I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to add my next notes.

The HTML pane should remember your position and not return the view to the top every time you return.  This should be the default behavior for any situation like this.  For example, if you're reviewing a list of notes, it should keep the position where you left it so you can resume reading where you left off.

I thought maybe it was only doing this when I was viewing the HTML pane without doing anything inside it.  I could see how it would be difficult to keep track of the scrollbar position.  But it occurs even if I've activated the pane and am in the midst of typing something.  If I leave the item and return, the view position has moved back to the top.

Edit:  thought I had a solution by opening a second window where I could keep the forcus at the bottom of my list in the HTML pane.  That didn't work.  If I switch back to the first window, then return to the second, the HTML pane again resets to the top, even when I don't do anything at all in the first window

Hi Wayne,

It would be real nice !

2 issues here:

1- Scroll position (editing and browsing)
2- Cursor position (editing only)

I'll look into implementing both of these.

Thanks.  The second one alone would be fine if the first is too hard.  You'd just need to remember to mark you place by activating the cursor in the HTML pane.
