does anybody know -

How to concurrently display named days of the week (Mon/Tues/etc) and calendar events in the New Calendar.  The Main Calendar (not the mini calendars) current default displays events but not named days.  By means of "Show Time Scale" named days of the week appear but events disappear.  Or is that concurrent display ability not functional yet?  Numerical date does always display.

Hi Doug,

Work on the Calendar was a little bit postponed, as I focused on WikiTags.

That said, I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you have an example of what you'd want ?

In the mini-calendar, you can click on the weekday header (i.e. Mo, Th, etc) to display just those days.

Right-click on the Calendar to choose from a series of displays (normal, vertical scroll, horizontal scroll).
Click on the mouse wheel button and drag to change the scale
Click and drag to move the Calendar

Hi Pierre,

View below shows events but not week day names (Mon/Tues/etc).  This is from a 5-week view but I have only captured the first 2 weeks, and Sunday to Friday, for demo purposes.

View below after select "Show Time Scale" shows week day names but not events.  Again a 5-week view, but only first 2 weeks, Sunday to Friday.

View below with "Show Time Scale" still selected and then do right mouse click on extreme left edge of left vertical bar and then the hours c/w lines across calendar show.  Week day names show and some events show (not all) but the event writing is over-written and illegible.  Still a 5-week view.

thank you

Yeah... I guess there is some fine tuning required for the Calendar !

I'll look into this this week. Next release will be 50% calendar enhancements / fixes and 50% Wikitag enhancements

Interesting enough, after click, click clicking all around the Calendar yesterday it reached a point where events wouldn't show no matter what I did, so I closed out and reopened and VOILA!!! - events and weeks days both show cleanly in a 4 week display.  If I add a 5th week, no more week days but when I revert to 4 weeks both events and week days cleanly show again!  I can live with that for the time being for sure.

Haven't yet figured out how to force all events to show in chronological order (see Thu Oct 22 below), or how to switch from 24 hr clock to AM/PM clock.  Maybe I'll be able to figure it out after the next release.  Thanks Pierre.

Hi Doug

  1. The display of week day names is "automatic", depending on the size of the window and the number of days shown. Evidently, it needs a bit of fine tuning
  2. Order of events: Definitely a small bug
  3. AM/PM: It should be set by your Windows control panel regional settings... is it not ?

my Windows Control Panel setting is AM/PM short setting.

I thought in Rel13 and previous releases there was setting somewhere in infoqube for 24 hr or AM/PM?
