Pierre,
I've been requesting a better way to manage and navigate grids for, I think, about 7 years now :).  Maybe if I make it an easier request to implement using the current paradigm I can get you to do it .  Could you implement something, like in the attached image?

I know Armando and other users have agreed something like this would be very useful.

Think about it, the extreme beauty of IQ is in the flexibility of how information can be stored and categorized with so much flexibility, along with powerful multi-level outlining.  Yet when it comes to grids, the entity that helps us to categorize our information, it's essentially a flat system with little flexibility.  My screenshot idea would allow us to arrange and categorize our grids in ways that are meaningful to us.  For me, it would also allow me to use IQ how I want, instead of constantly making choices around the flat grid system.  What I mean by that is my preference is to have many grids, but the inability to arrange or categorize them made me give up on that.

Have I convinced you yet?  Release after next?

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

Yeah, this is definitely a good idea.

I was going in that direction recently with the introduction of grids in the Properties pane.

I'll complete it, with the introduction of grid hierarchies, the next time I work on the Properties pane, in v64 most likely

I have my own custom made geeky grid name hierarchical system... but this is definitely good news!

Yes, it is quite easy to create a grid, which contains a hierarchy list of items, where each item is a hyperlink to a specific grid.

Nice tip.  I'm going to look into this for my own organization.
