I finally gave in and updated to Firefox 43.  It disabled the Infoqube add-on as being incompatible.

Is there an add-on update in the plans?  There's no add-on for Chrome, is there?

No, not yet, but the universal clipper works fine does it not ?
Did you try to re-enable the FF clipper ? Last I tried, it still worked, even though FF said it was incompatible...

Just FYI:
Unsigned addons are blocked in 43, and will be completely blocked (no workaround) in Firefox 44

That's hugely disappointing, I hope there will be a workaround in advanced settings.  I've got a couple of old extensions that are no longer in development but do still work that I'd like to not lose for no other reason than they purposely block them.

I read that they will be very strict about this and only special "dev" builds would allow non signed addons...

That said, anybody can register and submit an xpi file and who knows, they may actually approve and sign it. I had very little change to do to mine to have it approved.

Just my 2 Canadian cents, which isn't worth much these days...

Just wanted to report a bug in the older FF addon (so I would recommend updating)

Clipping text, modifying it, and then pressing Ctrl+Z led to an IQ crash.
This has been resolved by updating to the new FF addon.

The new addon in working as expected (provisionally tested) in
FF 43.0.1
PaleMoon 25.8.1 x64
on
Win.7 x64
