I was working in the HTML pane in IQ and closed IQ.  Reopened and the info I had typed in the HTML pane was gone.  I realized this has happened to me before and it's because if you close IQ when in the HTML pane without first moving off the item, the HTML changes are not saved.

1. Why?  I'd think IQ should warn the user and ask if the changes to the HTML pane should be saved.

2. Is there a setting under Options that would stop this from happening in the future?

Thanks

Yes, that clearly should not happen.
Until Pierre has a look, this may help:

in options, (1.4.3 in version 76), there's the option:
Auto-save delay (minutes, 0=disabled)

If you set the above to one minute [1], the html pane will be saved every minute.

It's not clear if it's the delay or the auto-save that gets delayed by setting to [0] --
I suspect is the auto-save.

EDIT// Queries:
  1. @David, what was that HTML option set to in your IQ?
  2. Which version of IQ, I presume 78a?

Tom, thanks for that help.  I had looked in Options/Data Storage for relevant settings since I knew that's where the autosave settings are, didn't even think to look in Options/HTML.  The HTML autosave setting was set to 5 minutes, so I've changed that to 1.  I may set it to 0 once I test HTML undo.  I am on 78a, though I know I've had this happen before, so I don't think it's related to this version.  I just don't think IQ gives a warning on close if there is unsaved info in the HTML pane.  Pierre can correct me if it should.

Confirmed and fixed in v78b
Thanks for reporting
