I would greatly appreciate such a feature.

As of now it is rather difficult to gain an overview (with context) of all the places an item might belong to.
In the properties pane, only the immediate parent is displayed, which is sometimes not enough to comprehend quickly the dependencies.

I hope it wouldn't be too difficult to implement.

There is alternative way now to open the item in MapView, but this one would be quicker and more convenient for most users (I know I am still to make more use of MapView)

Good idea, it could also be a menu command: Item > Show all Parents and a context menu in the Parents section of the Properties pane
Apart from the Mapview, you can also use Hoist and the Hoist 1 level to see all parents

Yes, I can. But sometimes I need the whole family tree of the parent too :)

But isn't that what the Properties pane gives you ?

It does but in an order that's not typical for InfoQube, i.e. Parent>GrandParent>GrandGrandParent.
In addition to that I need to expand each Parent separately, only one level at a time.

Always wondered what Hoist One level meant :)
