I use a program called Linkman to manage my bookmarks, and it's great, but IQ would be better ...
If only there were a "Bookmark All Tabs to Infoqube" function for Chrome / Firefox etc.
I know this is an exotic suggestion but what the heck.

I would welcome it. I've been trying to gradually use InfoQube for bookmarks more and more.
I've also been trying to move away from bookmarks at all, when I can. If I find an article I like, I download it rather than bookmark it. I've gotten burned a few times losing information because websites were shut down (and weren't archived by the wayback machine).
It's the only reason I still regularly use devonthink, for the web archive clipping. But recently, have been having an interesting user experience with Atlas Recall http://www.atlas.co which has seriously taken the burden off off the need for bookmarks by text scraping sites while browsing. worth a try? (if you can handle their privacy policy...)
Yes, I saw that. I run Windows 7 and wouldn't be changing operating systems just to check out a new program. But maybe they'll make it compatible with Win 7, too.
For Chrome, the bookmarks are a simple JSON file, so it is really easy to read and update a special item inside an IQBase. Showing that item in any of IQ's view could then be used to launch any links.
2-way sync would be more work of course, but simple read of Chrome bookmarks is rather trivial. Is that enough ?
I would be very interested to see how this would work and how it could be used! For example, if IQ fields could be "linked" to Chrome bookmarks to provide more info about the bookmarked URL, etc.
