Has something happened to copy/paste operations or am I losing it (likely)?

Copy three items:

Select three blank items cells:

Paste: should get three new items matching the three original items, or at least a dialogue asking if I want to paste them all into one item or create new items.  Instead,
I get this (which is not what I wanted):

Are these changes part of improving copy/paste from Excel?  Looks like I have to use copy/special, paste/special now.  I've also been unable to invoke the old dialogue that would come up when you try to paste multiple lines of text containing line breaks.  Now it just pastes everything into one cell without asking if you want them split between items.

Just trying to understand what's going on.

Hi Wayne,

Fixed in v107b just released

I still get the issue described by WayneK above when I copy/paste from Excel.

I followed the steps as described by WayneK and I am pasting Special and Plain Text.

Did the problem maybe come back in a version after 107b or am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: It appears that my cells in Excel do not have a line breaks, so I tried to create New Text in a different cell using
=A1&char(13).
I was then able to copy/paste. However, the item now has quotation marks "New Text     ". I guess that I can live with that.

As I wrote in my edit above, it turns out that there were no line breaks in the cells, and that is why it didn't work. I added a formula =A1&char(13) to get the line breaks. However, I then got quotation marks around the text when pasting into IQ. I haven't been able to figure out how get rid of those quotation marks yet....
