I have been trying out pasting images into cells. Very useful and the actual pasting works well. However there are some oddities when it comes to navigating with the arrow keys. You cannot the use the left or right arrow key to move into a cell with an image in it. If there is a cell with text in it on the other side, the movement is blocked. If the cell on the other side is empty, attempting to use the arrow key to move into the image cell "jumps" over it into the empty cell. Of course you can still select any arbitrary cell with the mouse.

There is another oddity which may be connected. If you delete the image in a cell, you cannot edit the cell in the normal way, e.g. by pressing F2 or starting to type. You have to do shift-F2 to get the floating editor. Also, even after the image has been deleted and text added, the behaviour of the arrow keys described above is still in place. So I'm guessing the act of putting an image in a cell changes the cell in some way, even after the image is deleted.

cheers
