Still having trouble copy/pasting multiple lines.
A) Item has two lines (with hard return in between)
B) Select item>Ctrl-C
C) Select one or more blank items to paste into.
C) Dialogue comes up:
1) - Paste 1 line into selected items.
I don't know why someone would select a block of text then just paste one line of it but I'm sure there's an explanation I'm not thinking of.
2) - Paste all lines into selected item(s). 1 new items will be created.
But when I select 1 item to paste into, it creates TWO items, one for each line.
3) - Paste all lines into each of selected items.
If I have 4 empty items selected, instead of pasting both lines into each item, it pastes the first line into the first item, the 2nd line into the 2nd item, the 1st line into the 3rd item, and the 2nd line into the 4th. It does this immediately (ie the dialogue does not pop up). There's no way to paste the same multi-line entry into multiple items.
This option works only when you have only one target item selected. Then it will correctly paste both lines. But if you have more than one item selected, it pastes the alternating single lines.

Hi Wayne,
Option 3) should work, I'll test it
There are lots of paste scenarios and hence it is not possible to provide an option for each
Remember you can always enter edit mode to content into a single cell. You can also select multiple items and make the change in the Properties pane (Item field)

The issue is with the embedded hard return
In the next version, I improved this to better handle these cases

Wayne,
1) - Paste 1 line into selected items.
I do this quite often. for example, some webpage has a title which is a single sentence in multiple lines. So I use option 1 and then manually delete the hard return to get the text onto a single line in the item.
