When I copy a calendar event which has a color I specified and then I paste it to a new date, the newly pasted event appears with the default color, rather than the color I specified; is there any way to copy with the color I specified?

For example, my default color for calendar events is blue, but I color time/events spent on research as red. However, if I copy a "research event" to a different day, that event appears as blue. (I realize that there is a workaround for this - to go into the properties pane and then specify the desired color for the newly pasted event - but this is cumbersome).

Also, if I specify a custom color for a particular tab (I like pastels), how can I use the same color for other tabs?
