I want to move several Notepads from Ecco into IQ. I've had all my general stuff in IQ for a couple of years now, and this is the last specifically work-related data that I've still kept in Ecco, so once I finish this process, Ecco can move on to the halls of Valhalla...
The method I wanted to use was File/Database/Export for selected items plus subitems in Ecco (saves to .txt file), then copy text file contents to clipboard and paste as HTML in InfoQube. I tried import from IQ before but there were some errors so this method seemed easier.
However, while it works in principle, with long / complex outlines, the order of the top level items appearing in IQ is mixed up. Is there any way I can get better results?
Thanks!

Came up with this workaround…
Came up with this workaround: In Ecco, move all items under a dummy TLI (top-level item) before exporting. This makes all items show up in the correct order under the dummy TLI in IQ after HTML paste. Then just promote the items to top level, delete the dummy and you're done.
Cheers
Hi Left, Good workaround !…
Hi Left,
Good workaround ! You could also sort by ItemCreated time to get TLI in the correct order (show the column, right-click > sort ascending)
