Thanks. I couldn't get the outlook to work so I returned to the gmail. I realized in gmail in order to do app passwords 2 step verification needs to be on.
The sending of emails to iq helps me out a lot since I use a company laptop and cannot install software on it (not legally anyway) so to send items to iq is a boon.
I would not recommend it as 2-factor is a really security feature, but for the record, once you have your app-specific password, you can turn off 2-factor

When using GMail, one must create an App-Specific password. Did you / can you do this with Outlook ?
