I continue to have problems editing text.

1) Item is selected but I cannot enter edit mode.  Double-clicking or space bar doesn't work.

2) Edit mode has been entered (selection color has changed to white) but cursor will not show up in the text.

3) Edit mode has been entered and cursor has appeared but I cannot type text and cannot move cursor with the arrow keys.

In all cases, the freeze-up is removed by selecting another item and returning to the first.  I cannot reproduce any of the above.

I can reproduce the following:

Type text. While still in edit mode, select the text and continue typing.  This should delete the selected text and enter new text.  Instead it freezes up and text can't be entered.  Delete removes the old text but still won't let you type new text.

The above also occurs with previously existing text: select text and begin typing.  Sometimes it deletes the old text (as it should) and sometimes it just freezes.
