I use the shortcut "ddd" to insert dates using my text utility. When I try to do this in the document pane, InfoQube shows the paste special dialogue.
I don't see "ddd" in the keyboard shortcut list.
How do I get rid of this InfoQube shortcut so my own shortcut will work correctly?

How do I ?

Hi Wayne,
I'd hazard a guess that your utility is using the Ctrl-Shift-v shortcut (sent virtually to the active application) to paste the date it has put on the clipboard without any formatting. If that is the case, you could either try to tell it to just use Ctrl-v or to use Shift-Insert through its settings - if there is such an option anywhere. Failing that, you could try changing the Paste Special shortcut in InfoQube away from Ctrl-Shift-v, maybe to Ctrl-Alt-v so it does not get triggered accidentally by your utility.

Thanks, Phillip. I'll check that out. I've been using this utility for years and never had this happen in the Doc pane before.

Sorry, should have read your post to the end. I'd assumed you were talking about the grid as I missed the part about the doc pane.
I'll keep quiet now until The Man is back to fix things.

Out of curiosity, why don't you use the built in Insert Date command?

Because i've set up a short cut that works without thinking across all my programs. It's not optimal to have to remember "Oh yeah, it doesn't work in this one circumstance".
Let's just drop it. I don't use Doc pane enough for it to matter. I thought there might be an easy explanation but it's not worthy of investigation.
