On my laptop, I added an item to my sndb database.  IQ wrote it to my OneDrive IQ sync folder.  (I use OneDrive rather than Dropbox because the free Dropbox plan limits you to a small number of connected devices, plus I do the $99 deal for MS Office + 1TB onedrive storage.)  On my desktop, OneDrive downloaded the laptop file from the sync folder.  But IQ on my desktop would not copy and reload the file from the sync folder.  Desktop IQ doesn't seem to recognize that there's been a data change, even though File > Properties shows that the laptop file has one more item than the desktop file.  Oddly enough, if I go to the laptop and do Ctrl+B to bold the current item's text, and then Ctrl+B again to toggle back to the unbolded state, and that file is synced over to the desktop, the desktop does recognize that that file has changed data, and copies and reloads it.  Strange behavior!

But is there a way to force the sync from the "recipient" PC, other than closing the recipient's file and manually copying over it from the sync folder, and reloading?

Perhaps File | Properties could report not only the Last Edit Time and PC of the version currently loaded, but also the file in the sync folder.

Perhaps each PC could write this info for their loaded file and their sync folder file to a small file which could sync independently of the database, and this little file could sync over to all the other PCs.  IQ could read this little file to see the current sync status of all the PCs which have had this file loaded and synced.  IQ could pop up a little table showing the info for each PC for loaded file, sync folder file, cloud file.  That way from any PC the user could see the current status of the syncing process and see where the hangup is if any.

How do I ?
