When I used H2 to open an existing database, I could not drag  any items at all. There was no indication that the item was being dragged and no position indicator.  I closed and re-opened IQ, refreshed ad nauseum, all with no success I created a sub-item, and all seems to be working now. I am running Vista.

Do you know what you did to make it work again? Drag-drop is working fine here...

Yes. I  simply added a sub item, then tried dragging it. It worked, and so did dragging for the previously existing items.
