split IQ window horizontally w calendar in top half, grid w items w children in lower half
focus on grid item w children
click on week date filter icon
parent w children will be selected in grid
 
There is no harm done except for the fact that a wrong click can delete selected data

I can make an entire grid's worth of data disappear by focusing in a grid, activating the date filter & clicking on week view icon. I sort of understand the logic of why this is happening but it is scary.
