I've been following the development of IQ for quite a while.  Very impressive application and I'm thrilled to donate and participate once again.
 
I've been working on a book outline and hoisted a section to add some clarity to my thinking.  I began writing in the HTML pane of one of the entries. After moving some items around, the HTML pane is blank. A bunch of work gone... but more importantly an instability in IQ.  I don't know if this would have happened if the section wasn't hoisted... I'll play around and see if it happens again.

Are you sure the info is gone ?
It might be , but check by switching between items if it's really gone or if the html pane hasn't refreshed.
 
I know there's a refreshing problem with the html pane at the moment as Pierre changed some coding behind the UI to improve performance. This is going to be fixed. In next release I believe (together with the flashing menus)

I've written about this before but unable to describe or nail it down or reconstruct it. Now I can see attached video in which I have two items in a grid. Both items have html content.
Open IQ, focus  on item & open HTML pane via <F12> revealing a blank pane.  PANIC ensues
Close HTML pane <SHFT><F12>
Focus on the other item & return focus to the first one
<F12> now reveals HTML content.  WHEW !!
 
I think this needs to be fixed to preserve user health.

BTW, I can also report that I sometimes see this for field properties as well
same steps except open field pane <F4> sometimes out of sync w item
