ctrl-drag-drop 's behavior (doesn't create new items) in calendar is coherent with ctrl-drag drop in grids... But is that the best option in the calendar ? Don't have an answer, I'm just asking. In Outlook, crl-drag-drop creates a new and independent event (a clone, basically, in the true sens of the term).

 

Also (and maybe more useful than the previous comment) : shift-drag-drop in Outlook allows the user to move several selected events at once. It would be good if that was implemented in IQ.
