I guess I could make a short video but I'm not sure what it would show.
Here's the situation here.

in grid #1 Tab group #1 focus on item #1 w html
click on item #2 w HTML in grid #2 in Tab group #2
Open HTML <F12>
content is from grid #1 Tab Group #1 Item #1

12/22/09 06:15 pm I can't believe I'm the only person w an HTML problem. I cannot see much of my HTML content because the display of data is for some item that is NOT in focus, even w only 1 grid open. This is pretty serious here.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue... the HTML pane is always showing the content of the focused item.

Can you reproduce it with the sample database ?

Is there a problem when the HTML is kept open at all times ?

I ran dB repair & restarted IQ
I cannot reproduce this now
however, I do see html panes that are out of sync w items
this may be caused by bad /damaged sync via drop box
right now I am missing an EXTREMELY important document (ItemID18660.MHT) which is no where to be found
i don't see a problem w the HTML pane kept open at all times

BTW, I cannot run a compact dB (I always get error)
and manual backup dialog is confusing the way it is written but i can't focus on that right now

thanks for your follow up, Pierre

Using DropBox is a very good idea. For the missing file, surely you'll find it in the web interface of Dropbox.

OK, I'll look into the situation when the HTML pane is opened and closed and see if I can reproduce the issue.

re Compact: pre-rel10 is in fact reporting an error. I'll check about this. You can do a repair (which internally also does a compact) and it is working fine.

re: Manual backup: What are you finding confusing? It generates a .snbkm file, which is identical to your .sndb file

Just in case... You looked in the folder containing the MHT files? ( */yourdatabasename.SNDB.Files/* )
