I think it's time to make this small change ( it's already in mantis ( 750 ), and probably somewhere else in the forum...) : Change everything "tag" related to "collect" or something like that. The tagging word is just too confusing.

 

Collection is borrowed from directory opus.

 

Some suggestions :

 

"Tag item" : Add to collection

 

"Add item to tagged list" : Add item to collection

"Clear tag list" : Clear item collection.

 

 

And maybe add an option in the small drop down "tag" menu : see "Collection in scratch grid", or something like that.

 

That is, if we /you want to keep this feature.

 

I don't mind any other terminology. Collection seems pretty clear though.
