Hi Pierre, I hope you're doing well.
 
It's already been a while since the last update and there are a few annoying (and pretty major) issues waiting to be fixed. A few minor things have been cleared it appears, but I'm waiting for these other ones.... those that have an impact on my data and are complete time wasters.
 
Speaking of time wasters, I just posted something concerning conditional formatting as this remains a bit of a mystery to me : why does it work, why it doesn't , etc. I still have no clue. Too many invisible mechanisms into which I don't have any insight.  And then there are the dangerous inheritance problems and column equation problems, plus other pretty significant problems already in Mantis (and mentioned in the "What is Pierre working on these days ? ..." section).
 
Can we hope to see solutions to these soon ?

I'm working on these right now ! I want to get a new version out this week, before the long week-end.

As you might have seen, I've isolated a problem for the conditional formatting feature. It's easily reproducible. But maybe is that a grid component problem ??
 
In any case, even if my examples there look far-fetched (there are a lot of conditions), it's not : I envision that V1 and its multiple grids templates will make use of the "conditional format" feature much more. It makes everything easier on the eye and more user friendly (e.g. : just with a few colours it's possible to identify which fields are essential for certain item type, etc.)
