Pierre : is there a reason why the tooltips are incomplete in the

 

1- properties pane (only the fields name is shown),

2- for grid cells

3- Grid tabs (the "Description" info, when fairly large, is truncated here -- sometime though, I'd like that info as it gives directions on how to use the grid)

 

If I want the complete info, I absolutely need to have the new notifications pane opened, but I don't want to open it all the time (especially when the properties pane is opened) as it takes too mush screen estate.

 

So, if possible  : can we have the complete info in the properties pane + grid cells + Grid tabs tooltips too (like for the fields headers in the grid)

 

 

 

P.S. : I understand that the notifications pane is the new display device for tool tips info, but please don't underestimate tooltips as such... They're VERY useful, and I personally like to have as much space as possible for the grid / properties pane / HTML pane content on my little laptop screen. Personally, I find that waiting 1 s (or less)  for a tooltip to appear is no big deal compared to opening and closing a pane everytime I need/don't need it. (Not saying that the notifications pane is bad or anything -- seems to be a blessing for some).
