 Using 0.9.25H 12/3/2010 installed version (Windows XP SP3):
 
When I set "IDItem" as the tree column, the hierarchy gets reversed: sub items appear further to the left instead of further to the right. It appears to be purely a visual issue --- I can post a screenshot if that would be helpful. Anyone else experience this?

Confirmed - items expand collapse as expected, so it is as you say a visual thing

This issue (pretty old actually) is in fact linked to the field's content alignment.

Ah, that makes sense. And thanks for the Mantis link --- I had tried searching the archives but hadn't thought of the right words to use.
