filter is off
 
Alpha filter is set to = all
 
A/Z sort does not function either in asc or desc mode
 
This is true if alpha filter is ON or OFF
 
I can sort by item column

Hi Jan,
 
There are 4 ways to sort in IQ:
  1. Show the Sort Bar and either click on a column header or drag a column header to the sort bar
  2. Hide the Sort Bar and use the Sort Box (shown on the Source Bar)
  3. Right-click on a column header and select sort
  4. Right-click on a parent item and select sub-items
Please provide more detailed info !

  1. And what did you put in the sort box that doesn't work ?
  2. Is the Sortbar shown ?
  3. Can you provide a screenshot ?

It's hard to know what's going on with the sorting as the sort text box is precisely what's hidden in your screenshot...
 
Sorry, It was a display problem on my side.
 
The problem is that you shouldn't write item = asc, but simply item asc, or even more simply : item.
 
You just need to specify de direction when it's descending : item desc
