Hi Pierre, site is working great

I sometimes have to link two different files with the same name to IQ.
IQ very intelligently creates two different *.lnk files
It adds a '1' at the end of the second shortcut file name ('2' at the end of the third etc.).

My problem with this is that I'm linking files with names like F245.
First one is F245.lnk
Second becomes F2451.lnk

This is a bit of a spanner in the works for me, in that I am working with numbers between 1 & 3,000.
So F2451 refers to something completely different than F245.

So, I was wondering if you would be able to somehow differentiate the '1' e.g.
F245_[1]   or the same with a space (spaces dont bother me but some people dont like them)
or
F245_1
or
whatever you think yourself really - so long as it doesnt simply make a new number as currently,
thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,
could your files be renamed  ? (E.g. add a " _" at the end of each ?).
Sometimes files can't be renamed, but ...

Hi Armando,
once I noticed my problem, I can work around it all right - I cant rename files at this stage but I can just add text where necessary to the IQ item/link.

Technically it's not a bug as such.
But it is a problem that others (at some stage) are probably going to run into as well, so I thought it would be best if Pierre could modify the suffix.

Of course, you are right. Others will run into the same problem, eventually.
I suggested the obvious as I know I'm sometimes not seeing the obvious myself...!  :)

This is fixed in v0.9.26Pre-Rel8. The .lnk file will have  "_[xxx] appended to the file name.

HTH !
