When I am making an outline in a grid, and I press Enter to start a new sibling item below the current item - often the current item and the new item jump to a new vertical position in the window.  i.e. if the current item is near the top of the window, and I press Enter to start a sibling item - the current item may suddenly appear near the bottom of the window.  I have to scan the window visually to find my place again.  Very annoying.  Is anybody else seeing this?

Same thing happens with split (ctrl-shift-s) operations.

There shouldn't be any change in the vertical positions of the items in the window when I press Enter to start a new item.

using PreRel7, was also present in PreRel5, which I had been using until just now.

i posted this in the suggestions forum on 12/27 and got no response, so am reposting it here in bug reports - sorry for that.

Fantastic ... thanks much.  Look forward to trying it out.   It should help a lot in making the data entry experience smoother, as I have been used to in Ecco.
