Hi,

For a couple years now I have been using IQ on a laptop on which MS Office 2010 as well as MS Project 2002 are also loaded.  Yesterday I upgraded to MS Project 2010 and then unloaded Project 2002.

Now I cannot create Pivot Tables or Charts because I get the error message stating, "Office 2000 (and up) is not installed.  Install Office or download the 'Office Web components' from the Microsoft web site to view the pivot table".

I uninstalled and reloaded IQ but still get the same error message.  Office 2010 is loaded and functional.  I am not an expert software troubleshooter and don't know what to do to regain pivot table and chart creation in IQ.

Advice if possible would be appreciated.

thanks, Doug Bartlett

Well . . . I guess it's a matter of downloading and installing Web Office Components in stand-alone fashion, they/it apparently having been a component of the MS Project 2002 installation but not of the Office 2010 install.  So I did that and have regained the ability to create Pivot Tables & Charts.

Exactly. OWC is available for download, but has not been included with Office since Office 2007.

Download it here from MS Official site!
