Today, when I opened one of two databases that I use every day, the Grid menu bar was at the top of the window instead of at the bottom where it HAS ALWAYS BEEN. AND, All of the menu bars for the HTML window were stacked inside the HTML window instead of around the top and left side where they HAVE ALWAYS BEEN. I have tried several times to grab and drag each of several of them, but the result is "Not Responding" and I have to close the database manually (force it closed). I ran Repair Database and Compact Database twice each, in between forced closes and reopenings. I have tried moving several different menu bars, a total of 20+ attempts. Every single attempt has resulted in "Not Responding".

 

Probably unrelated but worth mentioning just in case, in the OTHER of my two databases that I use every day, on 3 occasions separated by a few days or a couple of weeks, when I opened the "Address Book" grid, all of the columns had disappeared. I reset them twice, but the 3rd time it happened I gave up and now just scroll up and down the "Properties" window to find what I need. Functional but very irritating.

 

I would welcome suggestions on either problem, but the first one is more important.
