This is a long standing issue that as far as I can tell has not yet been resolved.

When I make a change to some attribute towards the end of the "All Fields" list, the pane refreshes and I have to scroll down to where I want to be. Can this please be fixed,or if this is seen as desirable behavior, can we have a setting to disable it?

Thank you.

Yeah,
it jumps to the very top of the properties pane (PP) here - no matter where you were editing in the PP.

(I dont know was this fixed before in the properties pane? Or was it only in the Grid?)

IMO, the properties pane needs to be split into 3 or 4 independent sections that scroll independently -- don't move when editing one or the other. E.g. That way, it's always possible to see the item info, while having access to, let's say, a specific form and some tagged items.

That said IQers, did you notice that the properties pane refreshing is smoother than before + interferes much less with item navigation ?

Yes it is as you describe Armando. But Pierre, please fix the scrolling!

Jon, apart from the jumping to the top problem (which clearly needs to be fixed), how do you like the idea of splitting the pane in more autonomous sections ? (In my case, it would definitely be useful as I have a *lot* of fields. I'd probably be using forms more if those were more visible and readily available.)

It is worth considering. If one could also drag/drop from one pane to another, that would be neat. I could see using this to to build forms far more conveniently than the drop down list. I.'m not sure if I need more than two panes, but I suppose the option to do so would be future-proof.

This issue is fixed in v0.9.26PreRel56 !
(long time coming, I know...)
