I didn't see this at all in the roadmap, still I think that it would be quite useful to have this feature at least in the HTML editor.

Here's what I'd love for this feature to do:
- Allow multiple user-defined dictionaries
- Allow checking with multiple dictionaries simultaneously
- Live check that can be disabled/enabled on the fly
- Right clicking on a marked word should present an option to add it to an user-defined dictionary.

Any chance to see all this in a 1.x version?

There are no short-term plan to include spell-checking. I recommend using As-U-Type a system-wide spell checker, which works fine with IQ. I could possibly arrange group purchase (to reduce the price). The author has been cooperative.

Pierre, thanks for the heads-up on As-U-Type. I had never heard of this program before, but it seems to solve a long term issue I have had with various applications. From my part, I prefer to have a single spell checker for all my programs, and this seems like the solution!

P.S. If you do arrange for a group purchase, I am in :-) Indeed, the price does look rather steep considering that one has to choose just one of the available dictionaries upon install.

You can install as many dictionaries as you wish (they are free), you can even have more than one at the same time
