It would be less confusing if the various "Finds" were more consistent in what they were called:

 

The edit>advanced find  dialog shows "Find ..."   Perhaps the dialog could show Find ... (advanced)

The edit>find  (the regular one/quick search/quick find) shows "Quick Search"    Perhaps the default menu could be changed to Find (Quick Search)  or something like that
