Hi Pierre,

I'd like to suggest to add a third option in the "postpone recalc" dialog. Clicking >12 times a day on "Yes, postpone it for 1 hour" + re-clicking again when a second instance of IQ is run becomes cumbersome.

Do you wish to postpone the automatic Recalc ?
•> Yes, postpone it for 1 hour
•> Yes, postpone it until the next day
(Equations recalc can be started manually in Tools -> database management.)
•> No, continue Recalc

And if the user wants to manually trigger the auto recalc, why not add and option in Tools -> database management : Start equations recalculation
That way no need to close and reopen IQ to perform the recalc "manually". One can set "postpone it until the day" and just forget it until... the next day, or until one clicks on "Start equations recalculation". Seems simple, straightforward and practical to me. No?

Good idea !

This feature is now implemented in v0.9.26PreRel48

Hi Pierre,
Don't forget the option in Tools -> database management : Start equations recalculation...
It'd be useful
